These terms govern your use of chatrandom.social. By starting a chat you accept them, so we kept them readable. The short version: be an adult, be decent, and the service is free to start.

Chatrandom is strictly for adults. By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly allow minors on the platform, and any account reasonably believed to belong to a minor is removed immediately.

Chatrandom provides browser-based random video chat: one-on-one video, voice and text rooms between matched strangers. The service is provided "as is" — we work hard to keep it fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or a particular match.
You are responsible for your own device, camera, microphone and internet connection, and for everything you say and show on them.
Your first matches are free — no payment, no card, no sign-up required to start. Continued use beyond the free allowance runs on coins.
Coins are sold in one-time bundles at the price shown at purchase. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal of any kind. Coins are consumed as you chat, are non-transferable, and — except where the law says otherwise or a purchase fails to deliver — are not refundable once spent. If a charge you did not authorize appears, write to [email protected] before filing a dispute and we will sort it out.
You agree not to use Chatrandom for any of the following:
We moderate with a mix of automated signals and human review. Breaking the rules can bring a warning, a suspension, or a permanent ban depending on severity and history. Decisions about illegal content are reported to the appropriate authorities where required. The community guidelines describe the behavioral standard in more detail.
We do not record your video or audio calls, and we do not sell your personal data. What we do collect — and why — is documented in the privacy policy. Content you transmit to another user is yours, but you grant us the minimum technical license needed to deliver it to your match.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chatrandom is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including the conduct of other users. Our total liability in any matter is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use after that date means acceptance. Questions: [email protected].
